Just over 24 Hours away from 2006 and were better to chill out in preparation for New Year's than this lovely place, Monterey, California...

Christmas in Cali has been great - it's everything that's been happening elsewhere that has sucked. In particular the tragedy in Lees Summit surrounding Forthy's Honda Civic Hatchback.
Sadly, the "silver bullet" is no more..
While details still remain to be confirmed - reports suggest that the car was the unfortunate collateral damage in a police chase. First, the hatchback was rear-ended by the very car the police were chasing, then, it ploughed into the back of another car - sealing its fateful demise - all while parked at a stop light!
As of yet there have been no offer of condolences from the police. However, one kind officer did respond to a telephone inquiry about the proceedings, saying, "Look, I'm too busy to dig out the report right now, you'll have to call back another time, maybe tomorrow."
Charming!
Incidentally.. the 17-year-old driver of the car being pursued by the police - the one which ploughed into the back of the stationary Civic at a collision speed of over 30 mph - already had 13 warrents out for his arrest... and, you've guessed it.. had no car insurance whatsoever!
My insurance was liability only.. :(
Pained and powerless - what a way to spend a Christmas vacation... the best Christmas present ever...!

Celebrating the festive season, Forthy and the boys headed south to the Lake of the Ozarks for the Horny Toad's Christmas Party.. Here's a snapshot of some of the action...
The Italian stallion top left looks like he's in heaven (top left), while Flynn, Kaden and Sean Lenz hit up the jager bombs to kick start the evening (top right.)

PVD is the new No.1 DJ in the world, knocking Tiësto off the top spot. The German trancer has been in the Top 10 since 1998.
Depite losing his crown, Dutch trance superstar Tiësto remains one of the biggest spinners the world has ever seen.
Armin holds the No.3 spot for a third year, but with his own grand scale solo stadium gigs planned, watch this space.
